The desire to create an art project which involves lots of people, brought me to the idea of making the involving of others to the project itself. Who they are, what they do and where they are from does not matter as long as they ARTicipate.
Since web development and design are my passion and my full time job, I decided to make "articipate.at". This website is the core idea of ARTicipate.
What is it about
"Articipate.at" is a nonprofit, nonpolitical and nonreligious internet art participation project based on communication.
And.. the idea is the participation itself. This website will document and record the process of building and expanding a virtual community.
It represents the unification of many different people from all over the world just for the idea itself.
This project gives everyone the opportunity to present themselves, to become an artist in a way just through the participation in "Articipate.at".
After registering, all participants are listed automatically in the database (as long as they have uploaded a JPG file) and all visitors will be able to browse and comment their work.
The result is in process, the project ends in June 2005. It will be presented and all Articipants will be mentioned.
Copyrights of texts and pictures themselves is an intelectual property of the artists.
The artist of "articipate.at" has the right to delete any inappropriate contents without notice
Why participate?
Because of the idea and its a great opportunity to publish your work and present your ideas within this project to thousands of people through the website. It's free!
This project would not happen without YOU. It’s entire success depends on the participants. Take the opportunity to be part of the idea. Articipate! Be creative and individual!
How to contribute?
Well, it’s easy, I spent a lot of time to make this website friendly and easy to use. Everyone can participate by providing simple information about themselves and contribute an idea. "Do" something to ARTicipate!
Your contribution can be a photo, drawing, any digital artwork or even a text.
Important is to establish a relationship between YOU and "Articipate.at": therefore you should integrate in your work either the "Articipate.at" logo (download it here) or the word "articipate" in any form - symbolically or absctractly. You can use it in your work the way you'd like. In this case size doesn't matter.
* If you'd like to be more flexible, you may actually make anything, as long as your work is obviously related to "Articipate.at"
The more unusual and original the artwork is, the better. Artwort should be uploaded as a JPG file, texts can be posted as a comment or in the forum. Contribute with your personal idea, present it to the others!
It’s totally up to you and your imagination!

That's me: Bob Bojkov (Real name Borislav Bojkov)
born: October 17th, 1975 in Sofia, Bulgaria
I live in Vienna, Austria since 1995
Studied since 1996 at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna
Art education. Have tried different things, even studied Spanish
It took too long, but I'm now in the final stage of my media-art studies
"Articipate.at" is my graduation project.
Deadline is in May/June 2005.
From 2000 to 2003 I was Tutor in digital works, video editing and web design in the Textile "department".
In the last 4-5 years I have been working as an independent designer, web developer, doing all kind of digital work together with the great cooperation of my partners (check references on my website).
Besides everything above, I travel as much as possible, doing hard sports, enjoying life…

As soon as the project starts growing, and the content fills, I'll try to make good publicity around it on the internet. It will be posted on various forums, as well as banners on other websites. Participants should help a lot.
I'll print business cards for distribution, and make an “articipate” seal.
My goal is to get people from all over the world, That's why I use the abilities of internet.
Most of the information is stored in the database, so it will be easy to collect and sort the information even if its heavy.
Close to deadline, I will start to document the process, and prepare the presentation in may 2005
